This TA Activity increased awareness of services and investment disciplines in free trade agreements, particularly within the government regulatory community in Paraguay. This was achieved by conducting training workshops for regulatory officials and private sector organizations on the nature and impact of disciplines on services trade and investment in modern trade agreements. The TE also provided recommendations for an ongoing program of information exchange between Paraguayan government agencies and their Canadian counterparts.
